'Larger Image' link - positioning???

I keep coming back to this fresh day after day. I cant figure it out.

I have modified my product info page to include the coding for a drop shadow on the image (coding and idea snipped from cherry zen)

I have everything working as I wish BUT cannot position the 'larger image' hyperlink correctly.

As far as I am aware it is included in the #productMainImage stylesheet definition and does not have its own class.

The problem I have is that any manipulation via margins and padding clearly affects everything including the drop shadow and image itself.

Is this feasible to make its own class/definition, I'm still not fully up to speed. Ive tried every text specific stylesheet function W3 schools have to offer as well as anything margin and padding orientated in the #productMainImage but think I'm barking up the wrong tree...?

Apologies for uncompressed image (trial page), restructuring the site for all white backgrounds huge schoolboy error not doing that to start with...
