Will Zen Cart do this?

The multiplied attribute prices are a form of "dependent attributes", which can have so many possible variants that it is apparently not practical to build a generic functionality in the cart system (or someone would have done it long ago). This means that you are not likely to find any pre-built cart software with the function you need; you can have it coded for your requirements by rent-a-coder or the Commercial Help Wanted forum here.

I'm not sure dependant attributes are all that impractical to do. Aren't the devs doing dependant attributes in v2 as we speak? (Using jQuery, I think.) I thought it was on the roadmap.
