setting up the shoe store - size and quantiy

hi zenners,

i am in the process of setting up a shoe store. would like to know how to go about setting up shoes attribute for size and quantity.

detail of what i want to do.

1. when i list the shoe it it should be listed with different make, size and quantity.

ex: Let say I have particular model of shoe in different sizes and quantity.

Shoe1: nike model: 0254
Size1: 8, 9, 11
Quantity: 8(1), 9(5), 11(3)

2. when one costume buy this particular shoe in size 8 it should decrease the quantity by 1 and update the quantity accordingly; so in this case it will be 8(0) or completely remove the size form the item page ( no option for size 8 on the shoe page).

There is a mod for stock by attribute http://www.zen-cart.com/index.php?ma...roducts_id=310 You can set up the quantity based on your attribute. I used it myself when I had the shoe store it works great.

By default, ZenCart does not have "stock by attributes" functionality

There is a 3rd party module for stock by attributes in the free software downloads section you can try

I have put a shoe in the products section. (Total 8 shoes with different sizes and quantity on each size)

can someone please tell me how to set this up, step by step instruction would be great.

thanks for the info, i already have installed the module.

now i need instructions on how set the size, quantity of the shoes.
where on the control panel, or is there support thread?
