If I add this module does it calculate the order total before or after coupons, gift certificates and other discounts?

ie. Say I set the minimum order set for $10. The customer uses a $10 gift certificate leaving $0 due. Will the order process?

Just want to be sure I fully understand the module and how it works before I implement. :)
