    Default Why has the Linkpoint Payment module stopped working all of a sudden?

    Zen-Cart ver 1.3.8a
    Initial installation, no upgrade since initial installation.
    I use the Linkpoint gateway to process credit card payments in my store.
    Everything was working just fine up until about 3 weeks ago.
    I did NOT make any changes anywhere, did not even add any new products.
    All of a sudden, all credit card payments at checkout fail with the error "Your card has been declined. Please re-enter your card information, try another card, or contact the store owner for assistance."
    So I tested with my own cc, same error, knowing that there's no reason for the transaction to be declined (cc has limit available, billing address is correct etc...).
    When I checked with National Merchant (my cc processor), they confirmed they have NO record of any transactions processed/declined.
    Because I have Linkpoint DEBUG enabled, I receive email notifications whenevr a transaction is processed in my store.

    Hmmm... I wonder what " [r_error] => SGS-020003: Invalid XML"
    means!

    Well...
    I went back and created a new order and it went through this time.
    I received the DEBUG email as usual and the only difference I see is that address info is present this time.

    So...
    While I am relieved toknow it really works... I am wondering why it did not work the first time.
    I am using the USPS shipping module, which automatically calculates shipping cost using the USPS gateway (don't know if that has anything to do aith anything).
    The other difference I see is that the first item (that did not go through) does not require shipping (FREE shipping).
    So, is it possible that "FREE shipping" items cause this problem?

    OK Many thanks! The patch for Linkpoint specifically mentions it fixes a problem with FREE shipping.
