Customer not able to get product using GC

Okay. Let's try this:

- place an order for an item. NO DISCOUNTS. NO COUPONS. NO GIFT CERTS. Just a regular item at full price.

- what payment method did you use for the order during checkout?

- what payment+shipping info does it say next to that order's details in Admin->Customers->Orders ? What's the status next to that order?

- now go to Admin->Modules->Payment. Click on Express Checkout. And post all your configuration settings here. (Skip usernames/passwords)

Um ... why is "CC" in that list?
Sounds like you need to go click on your "Offline Credit Card" module, and then click "Remove" to properly remove its ability to process orders mistakenly.

I just removed it and tried to put an order through and get the same message.

Ok, I place an order, no discounts, no coupons, no gift certs. REGULAR price

Payment method used Paypal.
payment info "linkpoint_api" I have no idea why it says that. This is the first time this has showed up.

Ok, I removed, linkpoint and money orders as they were both showing up as pending. put another order through and it worked perfectly on a normal transaction.

I am off to try it with a discount code and see if it works. Wish me luck....

You need to click "Remove" on all payment modules that you're not *really* using.
If you're only using Express Checkout and FreeCharger (to handle $0.00 purchases), then those are the ONLY ones that should have a status next to them.

Everything is removed with the exception of free charger and paypal

Paid orders are working.

That is the puzzling part because both freecharger and paypal are set to processing

and when using a gift certificat there is a balance but the box for GV balance does not show up

Back in post #2 of this discussion, Ajeh talked about setting the right order status in the order-total module. What did you set?
Remember, 1= Pending, 2=Processing, etc.

I had it set to default but changed it to processing. When it was set at default I kept getting a message when trying to download 'Free' products that

I set it to processing and now they can download free products. The only thing that does not work is the discount coupons/gv
