    Default Contact Us Form question

    Hello,

I've searched pages of FAQ regarding my email problem, but haven't found anything similar.

I have got a problem when trying to send a test email to one of my other email addresses.
I click on CONTACT US, it sends me to the contact us form, I fill in my details, hit send and it directs to me to what looks like my Sitemap with an error message above all the writing
    Error message below

Custom 404 Error Page with Site Map Sample Text ...

Put your custom "page not found" message here. You can change this text in the Define Pages Editor located under Tools in the Admin.

I expect it's something simple, however I have changed my INFORMATION title in the sidebox to IMPORTANT LINKS, i'm not sure if that would make a difference.

I've looked in includes/languages/english.php and gone to line 137where the coding is for the CONTACT FORM, but not sure what i'm looking i'm afraid.

    Any help will greatly received.
    Thankyou

    Lou

Yes, they all seem to be correct, although i am now wondering if I need the email address to be exactly as I have it when I log into my Host?
That was how it was set up in Zen cart - email options, then I changed it to one of my other email addresses - in all the appropriate places.

It doesn't look like your problem is email related at all.
What you described is that it's sending you to your page_not_found page, which suggests that you've done something to trigger a page-not-found situation upon clicking.

I see, how would I find out what i've done, because I can't remember doing anything to page-not-found?

    I've just looked in includes/languages/english/html_includes/define_page_not_found.php
and all i have in there is the following:

    <p />

Is this correct, i'm not sure what should be in there?

Should I ask this question in another thread as it's probably to do with define_page_not_found and not to do with emails as Dr Byte suggested?

I really would like to get this fixed.

    Thanks very much

If it had something to do with define_page_not_found, then you'd be getting an error on that page.

I didn't say it was a problem with define_page_not_found. I said you're triggering a page not found error on your server, and therefore the server is redirecting you to tell you that.

    Sorry.

Is there any way to find out what is triggering a page not found error on my server at all?

    Thankyou

When did this first start happening to you?

This is where I'd start with something obscure like what you've been talking about: http://www.zen-cart.com/wiki/index.p...Obscure_Issues
