SEO Friendly URL's - can anyone help get them setup

Hi I'm a newbie so forgive my lack of knowlege, I have tried a search and have found nothing on the subject.

What I want to do is make SEO friendly domains for my products & EZ pages instead of the dynamic ones.

These only need be the visual url the dynamic ones will still be there I guess.

For example

www.mysite.com/keywords/product-name

any help would be greatly appreciated

It is the href value of the links on the pages of your site that defines those URLs, so firstly you need to link to the URLs that you want users to see.

Secondly, you need a rewrite to connect the incoming URL request to the real internal script path that will deliver the content.

Thirdly, you need a redirect such that if there is a direct client request for the old-style URL, the user is redirected to make a new request for the new style URL.

There are already some add-on modules that do some or all of those functions, and it is worth checking those out first.
