aligning & spacing Images on main page

I'm sorry I had to re-post this but I haven't received an answer to the question and I would really like to get this rectyified.

finally got all my 5 boxes (temporarily pending revised ones) on My main page. DEPENDING ON YOUR RESOLUTION, YOU WILL EITHER GET 4-boxes on the top centered and one at the bottom centered, or All 5 on the same horizontal line. where do I enter an html code to make the spaces between the four boxes larger, or do I do it thru the Stylesheet. I have tried different code to attempt to equally space the 4 boxes. I can't seem to get them to separate equally along one line. I know it's a code thing but am not sure what it is or where to put it.

There are a total of 9 images
4 -4 - 1 in your define main page

Others are 3 across
