How Do I Add Paragraphs In The Product Description?

OK, I searched and have looked at a few posts but nooooon of those I found gave me an answer.... so apologies straight off if it’s right under my nose.

My question is: How do I control the text in product descriptions in order to include paragraphs. I write descriptions in paragraphs - but when submitted to the site, the paragraphs are not there... this makes my descriptions a bit cramped. Also - some of the information would look better under sub headers such as:

Flowering season: Early to late Spring.
Watering: Regular for first year until established.
Aftercare: None.

Right now - When published looks like this:

Flowering season: Early to late Spring. Watering: Regular for first year until established. Aftercare: None.

Garden lady,

1. admin panel/ configuration/ my store/ HTML Editor
2. set to: HTML
3. admin panel/ catalog/ categories and products
4. notice the drop down box at the top right called text editor
5. set to: HTML

Now when you edit your product descriptions you get a fancy editing table

1. click on the <> on the second row
2. this mode allows you to use html code
3. <p><strong>Flowering season:</strong> Early to late Spring.<br>
   <strong>Watering:</strong> Regular for first year until established.<br>
   <strong>Aftercare:</strong> None.</p>
4. click save

You can either use the simple HTMLArea wysiwyg editor, or you can TOGGLE (<> icon on the HTMLArea Menu) to raw code view and insert the HTML yourself.

www.w3schools.com will show you the basics of HTML tagging.

Thank you both ever so much. My site is starting to look like it was professionally designed. All I am doing is following advice posted in the forums or reading tutorials. Without you people helping out - I would be seriously struggling.
