I recently did a switch for a client on their domain names:
Original: myoldsite.com
New: mynewsite.com
Everything appears okay - emails are working, orders are coming through, I can add and remove products and even amend category names.
The one thing I cannot do is add a new category. I am doing the following (just in case there's something obvious):
1) Login to admin panel
2) Navigate to Catalog > Categories / Products
3) Click the New Category button
4) Add details in the Category Name field
5) Select 'Main Directory' from 'Upload to directory'
6) Add relevant sort order number
7) Click the Save button
The screen then goes back to the main admin panel and no category is created.
I'm using Zen Cart v1.3.8a
