IP Address Allow in Maintenance:

Hi,

I know you can allow individual IP Addresses when the website is in Maintenance Mode, can you also allow a block of IP Adresses if I don't know the exact IP.

For Example, How do I block IP 111.222.333.xx?
Do I just type 111.222.333.* and it would know to allow that range of IPs or does it have to be Exact?

Also, is there a way to Find a Visitors IP address through my Database PHPMyAdmin without having to install any mods?
I can you can check admin_activity, but how about store front?

I just need to find a recent IP address that's all!

For the Down-For-Maintenance functions, a complete match is done on the IP address. No wildcards are used.

If the customer placed an order, you can see their IP address in the order details when you look at that order in the Admin. Or you can look at the Create Account (Welcome) email copies sent to you when they registered (or when they ordered or used Contact Us, too).

Thank you for your response.
It's good to know that wildcard IP's in Maintenance mode doesn't work.

I know about the extra IP address info in the Emails and on the order page... However, they only Visited the website, no order or contact was made.
