edit capabilities gone from shipping module

Hi I have lost my edit capabilities for my shipping module. This has happened once before..no idea how i managed it..nevertheless I have backup and before I restore and have to repeat other edits I have done on other parts of the site I would like to know if there are specific files I could restore as opposed to the whole site. Thanks

Do you mean the right panel is missing when you go to Modules ... Shipping ...

If so, then you have either a bad shipping module in the:
/includes/modules/shipping

or you have a backup copy in there ...

or you have a file renamed to another name but the contents the same as another shipping module ...

or you have a language file in there rather than the code file ...

Hi I have replaced the includes/modules/shipping and the includes/modules/shipping_estimator.php. I did a search for shipping in the web developers toolkit and replaced any files that I may have altered and i am still not getting my edit menu for shipping. I think your answer is going to say its like looking for a needle in a haystack and I may have to do a complete site restore and go from there but I thought Id have one more try at the forum to save myself from having to repeat all the work I have done since my last backup. I was playing around with the icons in the ozpost shipping but replaced that with my back up.

If you have any suggestions .. really appreciate them

That image tells me you have:

1 extra files in the directory:
/includes/modules/shipping

you can only have 1 file per class on the shipping module ... look for backups or duplicates such as flat_old.php

2 you have language files in the directory:
/includes/modules/shipping

3 you have code files in the directory:
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

check each file on the server in these two directories and make sure that there are no backup files and that the code files are in the code directory and the language files are in the language directory ...

Hi downloaded those 2 directories from the server and used a program on my mac that does file or folder comparisons. They look the same to me. Have attached screenshot

Delete the files from:
/includes/modules/shipping
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

and load clean files from a clean copy of Zen Cart ... do not load the ozpost.php files until this is working right with the default files ...
