Categories Shifting to Center While Center Loads

I have been pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to pin the categories column in place so that it doesn't shift to the center while the page is loading. It only lasts a couple of seconds but it gets annoying seeing it happen with almost every page change. Is it possible to force the center column to maintain a specified width even while it is loading? Can I modify the stylesheet so that the categories are fixed to the left side of the main area? All I've managed to do so far is pin the navmainwrapper to the left side of the browser, which isn't what I want because my page is a fixed width and doesn't stretch.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

This is due to #navColumnOne or #navColumnOneWrapper having a margin: auto; declaration, which makes the element center itself in whatever space is available. For a moment while loading, the left column is the only thing in the contentMainWrapper space, so it centers itself in the whole page. Change the margins to whatever fixed value you want.

It worked! All I did was comment out the margin declaration for the #navColumnOneWrapper wrapper and they are staying put where I want them. Thanks again!
