Default Multilanguage problem with existing products

Hi all, I just installed the new 1.3.9a version of Zen Cart.
I also installed 2 additional language pack: italian and french.

All works fine, the new languages appears into the site and also in admin area.
The admin product page correctly displays 3 boxes for title and description, BUT if I add an italian and french title and description, then click on the UPDATE button, nothing happens.
The update process doesn't store in the database the text I inserted in the additional languages. If I open back the admin product page the itaian and french boxes are empty.

If I create a new category and some new products all works fine.

The problem is that all the pre-existing products I have in my store don't appear in other languages than english.

It's a bug of this UPDATE process or I missed something?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ale

Try setting a NEW product with the 3 languages. You must enter AT LEAST the product name in the 3 languages.
If you have a product in a given language and try to update with the Product Name with the second or third language the database will not be updated.
In other words, you need to re-enter the EXISTING products with the 3 languages, or MAYBE try to do it with EZPOPULATE

I agree with your answer, the UPDATE process doesn't control for the languages set or added in a second time.
If I insert a new product all works fine.

I think this is a BUG of the system, what to do if I have an existing shop and after the insertion of a big quantity of products I need to add a new language?
I need to rebuild all the database of products?

I will have a look at EZPOPULATE ;)
