Default Problem with logo wrapper on Internet Explorer

Hi there. I'm very new to this so please be gentle....!

I've been putting my store together using Firefox/Firebug (v basic at present) to check all changes I'm making. Have just looked in Internet Explorer and there seems an issue with the logo/logo wrapper. The area of logowrapper is much higher in Internet Explorer than in Firefox and it's obscuring a lot of the text on the page.

I'm at a loss for what's gone wrong and would really appreciate some help.

Generally, you want the height of #logoWrapper set to at least the height of your logo or header background image. Yours is set to 30px. Try changing that first.

Many thanks for that. Was just looking for a quick fix and will come back and sort out the look of the site later - this brings that date forward as the website is now even uglier than before!!

Something else I've seen is that in Internet Explorer my "Home" and "Log In" commands at the top are not shown....Is this likely to be because they are covered up by the full width logo? They display in front of it in Firefox, but don't show at all in IE. Thanks very much.

The navmain links are there in IE7 and 8, but not in IE6. IE doesn't work as well with z-index as other browsers, so that may be your problem. Google 'z-index IE6' for some possible answers, or don't use positioning - it's not really necessary for a fairly simple site like yours.
