Can I change a product category?

Hi- I have a few products in a category, Hunting, and I'd like to move them to another category, camping. Is there an easy way to do that without rewriting the products? Thanks!

Open the category in Admin - Catalog, and click the purple M at the right of each product entry.

Is there a way to move multiples at one time.
I tried to find something with no luck.

I have way to many items and now I want to create sub categories and move items into each of them, but moving 50+ is a pain one by one.

I have found that "nifty use" of Easy Populate achieves this nicely.

Careful and chronological use of the v_status = 9 and (after specifiying new categories for those products in the second pass of the spreadsheet) changing them to v_status = 1 - will have the effect of DELETING them from the current category and putting them into the new category.
