Security Patches kill site - am i putting them in the wrong place?

Hi

Zencart 1.3.8a, person not interested in upgrading right now

When i apply the patch "PCI Scans"

it says to create the file /includes/extra_configures/pci_patch_v13x_search.php

and put the relevant info in it

when i do this and upload it, the site becomes blank, admin still seems to work but the shop is blank, as in just a white page
removing that page restores the shop

I am assuming this is the includes file in the store and not the one in admin?

All other security patches are applied



ps should install.sql still be on the server?

Most likely an extra space or line added to the file when you save it. What program are you using to create that file?
