Default Changing my store directory on the web server

So when I first installed my zen cart, I did so in a directory called store on my godaddy linux. This was 2 years ago and my store has been doing pretty well, I have on my index page a 301 redirect so when you type in altertimes.com it goes to altertimes.com/store , though now I wish I transfer my zen cart in the main directory so it doesn't redirect anymore.

I was wondering if it will effect my database like if I move everything out of store, which has all my zen cart files, and put it into the main directory will it mess up the path to the database?
