Hi

This is the first time I have had to upgrade my ZenCart. I am going from 1.3.8 to 1.3.9

I have read the instructions a bunch of times, but a having a problem or two with my database.

I am on a *nix server with php my admin & mySQl database wizard.

I created a new folder /store then uploaded the whole unchanged zen 1.3.9a files.

I created a new blank database in MySQL wizard

I went to www.mydomain.com/store/zc_install/index.php and started the procedure.

To start with, I didn't get an option to upgrade my database

So, I tried two different methods:

1. Install the demo data, then import the database backup via php MyAdmin. But this didn't work and I got a SQL error:

2. I deleted the database, started it fresh and blank, and imported a backup from my current DB. This worked to an extent, but says I need to patch it:

"Your database appears to need patching to a higher level. See Admin->Tools->Server Information to review patch levels"

When I went there, I got this, amongst a whole bunch of other information

Is there something I can do to make this work right?

If I can use the 2nd method here, how can I patch the database?

Any other suggestions?

Something of note that my be important: There are a few extra lines/tables/fields (or whatever they are called) in my current database, than in the default zen database. This is due to a few mods, and a custom change, where someone added in a few extra fields into the customers "My Account" section.

Thanks

Paul
