Not Adding VAT

Can you please tell me how you resolved this problem?
I am experiencing the same problem with Vat not showing during check out.

Nevermind I got is sorted out as well

Under tax classes I edited it now to say:
Tax Class Title:
Taxable Goods

Description:
I just put VAT


(Before this, under description I had 14% VAT)

I also went to Zone Definitions now and whereas before I had all the 9 Provinces in South Africa listed there (simply because I did not know what else to put there...lol),
I now also created a new definition (10th one) Zone with South Africa listed under the Country heading, like I did with the other 9, but instead of adding a province as a "zone",
I now placed "All Zones" under the zone heading.


This seems to have sorted out the VAT problem and now its appearing on checkout.
