Thanks for giving this add-on a test. The cart was updated to version 1.39a but I don't know about the PHP so I have sent this thread page to my friend, Rick, who looks after the technical details for my site. Even though he downloaded the MAP add-on, I am not seeing the "Enable MAP pricing" radio button in the Admin area where you input your product info (name, pricing, etc.) I am afraid Rick is the only one who can answer any questions about the database, files, etc.

I wish I knew more about the 'internals' of the cart...LOL.
