Problems Transferring Zencart to New Website

Hi there all,

I've moved my Zencart installation to a new site and having some teething problems.

I've followed the instructions to the letter and most of the site looks fine.

HOWEVER, when I try and add a new Category or modify an existing one and press save, it takes me to the Admin Home page and the Category is not saved.

Anyone have any ideas what's going wrong?

That's a classic symptom of applying the June 2009 Admin Security patch incorrectly or incompletely, namely skipping the html_output file or updating the non-admin one instead of the admin one.

You didn't say whether this symptom preceded your move or not.

But, if you're still using v1.3.8 then that could be your problem.

NOTE: v1.3.9 is much more secure
