    Default search in side box

Hi Just wondering if someone can help me out I can't seem to be able to get rid of the search section where my side boxes goes
Aqny ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I have removed the search boxes from admin and it removes the area where you can type but leaves the word search there. My website is www.uniqueliving.com.au/zencart

Admin > Tools > Layout Boxes Controller

find searchboxes/search.php (could also be searchboxes/YOUR_TEMPLATE/search.php)

click edit then Left/Right Column Status: set to OFF then click Update button

Hi Frank thanks for that but still didnt fix it the only search one that was on was search header so it is now turned off and the word search is still there.
I do want the search box in the header just not in the side box
If you could please have another look that would be great
    Thanks

Considering you only have sideboxes on the left, move the search box to the right and turn it back on. Make sure search_header is turned on as well.

Looks like a template issue to me. What template are you using? Does not seem to be a Zen-Cart compatible.

You could test this using the classic template then switching it back to your template. You will need to hit the reset button on the bottom of the Layout Controller page.

Did a search for template zt003 in Google and in this forum. You seem to have had problems previously. I tend to agree with Kobra that something in this template has been hard-coded rendering some functionality of the Layout Boxes Controller obsolete.

    See http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showth...zt003+template

My guess is that some core files have been over-written . Which ones I am not sure - sorry.
