I have a furniture shop, and we bring in a lot of customers through our website. It works pretty well for us right now, however I'd like to move forward using zen cart. I like the idea of people being able to browse through items by category, price, etc, but I'm not quite sure I'm ready to get into taking online purchases just yet.
My question is this: Can I use zen cart, and simply disable the option to purchase items online, essentially just using zen cart as an online showroom?

Yes. Simply set the shop into Showcase mode via Admin->Configuration->My Store->Store Mode
If you decide to begin selling via the site, simply set the store into normal mode again..
