changing names of order status

for the order status, there are three options:
pending [1]
processing [2]
delivered [3]
update [4]

i would like to change it to:
pending [1]
processing [2]
shipped [3]
delivered [4]

is it possible to do this, and where can it be done? i have searched in the developers toolkit, and cannot find this anywhere. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Might not be able to change order... but you can rename.. so same thing kinda.
