    Default error 404 when installing?

I am installing the new version on widnows for the first time and go through all the steps up to load your browser and it will install Zen cart.
I do that but the error message comes up with can't find the address?
    HTTP 404
    Most likely causes:
•There might be a typing error in the address.
•If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.

    What you can try:
    Retype the address.

Go back to the previous page.

Go to and look for the information you want.

Where are you installing it? Server or localhost?

What URL are you using when trying to connect ?

    It may help. (or not).

Generally speaking I'd say you uploaded it into the wrong folder.

With the example you gave, the files would/should be located in:

    /public_html/zencart/

If you placed them directly into /public_html/ then the URL to use would be http://example.com/zc_install/

If you placed them into /public_html/zencart/zencart/ then the URL to use would be http://example.com/zencart/zencart/zc_install/

If you placed the files somewhere *above* /public_html/ the server will never find them.

    Happy hunting :-)

    Cheers

ps. Don't forget that the two configure.php files also need to be edited so the file paths match where they are actually located.

You appear to have a problem with your nameservers (DNS)

    Report#1:
ptrailerva.com is delegated to two nameservers, however both delegated nameservers are missing in the zone

    Report#2
0.9% of queries will end in failure at 192.5.6.30 (a.gtld-servers.net) - nameserver loop detected

0.6% of queries will end in failure at 192.33.14.30 (b.gtld-servers.net) - nameserver loop detected

51.2% of queries will end in failure at 204.93.169.176 (ns59.mochahost.com) - nameserver loop detected

47.3% of queries will end in failure at 204.93.169.177 (ns60.mochahost.com) - nameserver loop detected

If this means nothing to you, contact your webhost.
