    Default How set up Zen Cart with Chase Paymentech?

    Hi.

    I set up a simple online store with ShopSite (free edition) several months ago. Everything worked great with Chase Paymentech merchant account. Recently I decided to look at the Zen Card. I installed it on the same server as my previous store. I used a Paymentech module I found around the forum but when I try to process the transaction, I get the error:
    ProcStatus = 9717 - Security Information - agent/chain/merchant is missing...

    The information in the paymentech module is the same as in the previous store, so I know it's correct.

    I remember having similar issue with ShopSite. I called Paymentech and they fixed it by "whitelisting the server's IP".
    Zencart is on the same server so I doubt there would be an issue with IP.

    Anybody had similar scenario? What should I do?

    I just got set up with them with zen cart. They ended up setting up an authorize.net gateway with the same terms and everything and I used the authorize.net AIM module.

    Paymentech module seemed a little old and buggy, kinda glad I went with the authorize.net.

    Paymentech.. my relationship manager or whatever then proceeded to hook me up to authorize.net

    Hey guys, I am in the process of setting up my first e-commerce store, and am nearing production, however - I am trying to make sense of the Chase Paymentech / Authorize.net situation. If you could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. My client has set up a Chase Paymentech account, and I have the "Welcome to!" email and attachment with the Gateway ID. The attached word doc is for Chase Paymentech / Authorize.net. I'm a bit confused to whether I'm using the Chase solution or Authorize.net, or what the difference is, or if they are now combined and one thing. If the latter is true - which module do I use? From reading the above posts, I believe I should use the Authorize.net module. But, is this in fact Chase Paymentech too?

    I am going to give Paymentech a call and talk with them, but if anyone can shed any light on this subject for me that would be awesome - and I'm sure it would be useful information for the next New Zenner that comes along and needs to know this information!

    My relationship manager gave me a login at authorize.net. I ended up not using chase paymentech/orbital at all as far as zen cart was concerned. Payments are captured via authorize.net

    I had a few problems along the way.. one the accounts were set up in the boss's name and information and it took me awhile to hunt down the credentials and authorization for everything. Two for some reason they didn't have amex/discover set up at authorize.net at first.. a phone call over to them cleared that up right away.
