Cannot make changes in admin

I just made a duplicate version my working Zen Cart ver 1.3.8a to another domain on the same server. Everyting is working fine, I can place new orders, ect. EXCEPT I cannot make any changes in admin. New orders show up, products all seems fine until, for instance, I try to change the store name. - nothing - it just kicks back to the ADMIN Home Display.

Check you configure file in your newly names admin folder.

Make sure all references to the old name admin are replaced with your new name.


Also make sure file paths are correct.

Configure file is correct and paths are also.

As I mentioned, Admin displays everything correctly from the database it just will not let me make any changes.

Check the file:
/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php

on the server and make sure that is the one for the Admin ...

If you were doing Security Patches and Updates that could be the problem ...

NOTE: v1.3.9b is out and has all of the Known Bug Fixes, Security Patches and Updates ...

I too am having the same issue as "nuin". I can't make any changes in admin from my subdomain zen cart.

How does this file help me:
/admin/includes/functions/html_output.php ?

PS. After the host change, I also changed the admin folder name.

What version Zen Cart are you using?

What version php?

I have 1.3.8.a.
I just applied the patch as you mentioned and it did the trick! Thank you!
