Sidebox Banner aligns too the right

My site is almost complete but I have a slight problem with banners in both Banner_Box and Banner_Box2 on the right hand column.

When the banners dont have a url configured they sit perfectly in the middle of the column but when the banner has an active url associated with it, the banner is aligned to the right of the column as it is at present. The site is here http://www.thegolfcabin.co.uk any help on what to change would be great, I have spent hours trying to track this down but no luck.

First off, you have a file named stylesheetbak.css. Adding bak to the name doesn't prevent it from being used as a stylesheet, and since it comes after stylesheet.css, it will override at least some of the changes you make to your main stylesheet. If you need to keep a copy in that folder, name it stylesheet.bak.


You have left/right padding in those sideboxes and their links that forces the left edge of the image over, and the images are too wide to fit in the box that way. Either make the images narrower or remove the padding.

Thanks for that, I think the stylesheetbak.css was causing some problems that I wasnt aware of. I removed the left and right padding for sideboxcontent and the images have moved more central. Not sure why the are centred properly when they are not linking to a page but still slightly off when the are linking. Thanks for taking the time to help, it is very much appreciated.

The a element inside the sideboxes also has padding. Remove that (with a rule specific to the sideboxes if the padding comes from a generic rule) and the images will center up.
