Depends on where you want it to appear.
Thank you stevesh for your reply! I'm kind of re-thinking this because of what people have said about music. I think a video would be annoying on a shopping site too, so I will scratch that thought out of my mind.
But, maybe it's not a video so much that I may want. I kind of want to know how do people get pictures to move on their sites?
For example this site's header:
http://www.premierdesigns.com/index.php
What is that called is it a slideshow or flash something? Would you think that would be too distracting on a shopping site main page in the middle to show products?
If you don't think it's too distracting how is it done?
Thank you!

It's done with Flash, and I'm well-known here as a Flash hater (on ecommerce sites, anyway). You also have to buy the software to create it.
My objection is that Flash either wastes my time without offering anything in return, or is distracting/annoying. Mostly Flash is all about 'look at what a clever web designer I am'.
That said, I have no objection to embedded YouTube videos in product descriptions or EZpages, as long as:
1 . They add something to the information I'm looking for. A video showing me how something is assembled, yes. A video showing someone pouring dog biscuits into a basket, no.
2. They don't run automatically on page load.
LOL, I love what you said "Flash hater" you are too funny you make me laugh I needed a good laugh today thank you!![]()
I was kind of thinking the same thing distracting/annoying, but anyway I will take your advice and only add a video if it pertains to my product.
Thank you very much for your help letting me know it's done with Flash and for your advice!

To render a high quality video on website sometimes may prove to be a complicated task and in order to get the desired results for the internet users you can opt for the professional website video developer. These group of people can enhance the view of your website and thereby may help you get more clicks form the internet users.
Obviously this is way too late, but I have been pondering this very issue for a while. What I decided was an easy way to do this is to turn a small portion ( say 2.5 seconds) of my video in to an animated gif. Once the video is a gif it uploads in the normal way. A good tutorial on turning your video into an animated gif using photoshop is at http://www.briandalessandro.com/blog...with-photoshop. While this might not work in every situation it is good if you just want to add movement as a teaser to your product. Example of where I have used it is at http://colourcanada.com/ccstradingpo...index&cPath=21.
Thanks!
