shipping module error: Cannot redeclare class authorizenet

I'm using zencart 1.3.8(patched) hosted on siteground
when i try to install Paypal i only see the following

Cannot redeclare class authorizenet in /home/fivesist/public_html/includes/modules/payment/authorizenet.php on line 589

i have not installed any payment modules and have tried a clean install but i still can't install Paypal

any guidence would be a great help

Sounds like you've got the wrong authorizenet.php file loaded in your /includes/languages/english/modules/payment folder. It should only have a bunch of define() statements in it, and should NOT have a class declaration in it.

Go to Admin->Tools->Developers Toolkit
Scroll down to the last section at the bottom of the page, and enter "authorizenet" (without the quotes) and choose "All Files" from the pulldown, and click the search button.
Then report the results.

i'm a newby tring to learn zen and php so i'm not quite sure what i'm looking for here are the results of the search,i see a reference to authurize net being in test mode but i have not installed any payment modules????? it found 47 pages , too large to attatch but i attached the files i think contain the problems??

It seems you've copied files into the wrong folders for some unexplained reason.
You need to re-upload your /includes/languages/english/modules/payment/authorizenet.php file.

Many THANKS I don't know how the files got screwed up but replacing the files in that location with files from my original download seems to have let me configure the payment module.
testing now begins!!!
