    Default Patching

    Once you patch the database from 1.3.8a to 1.3.9b it says in admin
    Zen Cart 1.3.8a
    Patch: 1::
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.9b
    v1.3.9b [2010-05-15 14:20:24] (Version Update 1.3.8->1.3.9b)
    v1.3.8 [2010-03-18 08:48:44] (Fresh Installation)
    Do I go back and rerun the 1.3.9b install to finish the upgrade?

    Or is this what it should say??

    Just a little confused.

    That shows that you've upgraded the database adequately, but also confirms that you've not yet updated all the .php files to v1.3.9b yet.

    So do I re-run the install program??

    It sounds like I should.

    I went ahead and backed up my database, re-ran the complete install program and this is what I now see as a version statement in Admin:

    Zen Cart 1.3.8a
    Patch: 1::
    Database Patch Level: 1.3.9b
    v1.3.9b [2010-05-15 14:20:24] (Version Update 1.3.8->1.3.9b)
    v1.3.8 [2010-03-18 08:48:44] (Fresh Installation)
    Is this correct?

    I have no idea what it should say, the 1.3.8a is throwing me.

    The "Database Patch Level" is updated only by using the zc_install process to upgrade the database. So, that part you've done fine.

    But ..

    The "Zen Cart" version (in your case 1.3.8a, and Patch: 1::) come from the PHP files. So, since it's showing the OLD version, that means that the PHP files on your server are NOT YET v1.3.9 files.
    You have to upload the v1.3.9 PHP files to your server if you want it to use and show v1.3.9 properly.
