Display shipping times based on Attibutes or Prices?

I got a manufacturing site going up,... and based on what a customer wants its going to change how long the manufacturing process is going to take. How to I display shipping times in the Product listing based on the attributes choices that the customer makes?

Also,..

Customers may already have some of the product in parts, but need only to upgrade. I would like to include the 'upgrade' in such away it will display the shipping based on the options they chose.



I guess a quick way to think of it,.. might be to display shipping times based on prices... how would that be done?

I guess this isn't so much shipping times as much as it it manufacturing times. But the problem still remains...
