Rogue text appearing on create account page

Please can someone help. On my create account page there seems to be a ?> appearing at the top left hand corner of the page. This should not be there, please can someone help me find the location of this piece of code as it is affecting the layout of the page.

Looks like you have inserted the module Captcha, you might have mistaken added the ?>
Use your winmerge program and double check the original file and the captcha
I believe the problem lies here
includes/ templates/ your_template/ template/ tpl_modules_create_account.php

I think you're right, it happened after a Captcha install.

Well, I can't find where the error is. It's not due to Captcha, I tried taking it out, and the rogue text was still there. I can't see anything in the tpl_create_account file.

Could english.php have anything to do with it?

I'm really stumped with this one. Spent the last two days looking, but can't find anything.

Retrace every file that was touched with Captcha, especially look for anyone that touches create account..

1. Start with a fresh .php file and winmerge the captcha again.

OK, done Winmerge, loaded a fresh file, removed Captcha, checked english.php, but still I can't get this rogue text to disappear.

Here's the link... You will notice a ?> in the top left corner. Surely it has to be in the create_account file somewhere doesn't it?

look at the override version of your tpl_modules_create_account.php
should be in includes / templates/ Your template /template/ folder

I tried that yesterday. I put a fresh file in my overrides folder, but still didn't solve the problem.
