Hi,

I need to know what do you think about the look of my new shop with zencart.
Say me frankly what you think of it, if i's good, if it's bad, what is not good.
And if you have advice to improve something, i listen to you !!

(sorry because the english part is not ended....because i'm french in France..) I hope that there are no big faults in the translation !

The header and footer look fine - attractive, appropriate graphics that don't get in the way. The sideboxes seem stark or too plain somehow. Perhaps something as simple as adding some of the header theme to an edge of the side/centerbox headings would liven it up and tie the parts together. You don't want the headings busy behind the titles, just in the bare side areas.

Thinking a bit more, the square boxes are not "innovative"... round corners are a cliche - everyone "modern" does them - but a slight touch of that might reinforce the theme.

Simple design, but I like the color scheme. Header and footer images are very good.

Some suggestions:

Your product images are much too big (file-size, not dimensions) and your site loads slowly because of it. Try the Image Handler 2 mod to optimize your images.

I think when you have a lot of subcategories in a category, it helps to have small subcategory images. Right now, when I click on one of your top categories, there's a list of subcategories, but the text kind of gets lost on the page.

Not a good idea to have your email address in open text on your Contact Us page, because of spammers. Let the Contact Us page protect that address for you.

You've done a much better job translating French to English that I could translating English to French , but you have many spelling and grammatical errors. Probaby be a good idea to find someone fluent in both languages to help.

This mod will take your largest image (the one that appears when a visitor clicks 'larger image' on the product info page) and create the small and medium images for you, with the smallest flie size possible.

Follow the installation instructions carefully.

For example, your 'a solar flower' product image is 375Kb in size - it should be less than 10Kb. Your pages will load much more quickly, with no loss in image quality.
