Drop Down Sidebox Navigation?

Hi, im pretty sure this would of been asked but i cant seem to find what im looking for.

I want my sidebox navigation to work so that when you hover over a Category, it drops out the Sub-Categories.
Like this website except i dont want mine to be in the header nav: http://makeupconnection.com/

Any suggestions on the best way to achieve this?

Hi, thanks for the reply but this seems to be for the header. My navigation isnt horizontal its vertical as its a sidebox.
