domain redirection problem

Hi, I just recently changed hosts, I moved my zen-cart installation from the old host to the new host without a problem. I also transferred my domain to the new host, and am waiting for the process to be completed. On my old host when someone goes to www.mydomain.com, it would automatically redirect it to www.mydomain.com/index.php?main_page=. Now on the new host, it does not redirect to the zen-cart's index.php. Is there some coding I have to do to have it redirects like the old host? Right now, it goes to a place holder on my old host.

How long ago did you change hosts? It generally takes 24-72 hours for the domain change to take effect.
