Fantastico Installation Problem

Hello,

I'm first time trying to install zen cart on my online website.

I want to use zen cart on Joomla Website. I have been installed joomla 1.5.17 successfully.


My web server having cpanel fantastico.



Install Zen Cart (1/3)



Installation location

Install on domain : mydomain.com

I want to design my client site. So I have created directory called apple. And I have been installed joomla in it. Now I want to install zen cart in Apple directory.

Install in directory : /apple/

Leave empty to install in the root directory of the domain (access example: http://domain/).
Enter only the directory name to install in a directory (for http://domain/name/ enter name only). This directory SHOULD NOT exist, it will be automatically created!


Admin access data : admin

Administrator-username (you need this to enter the protected admin area)



Password : pass
(you need this to enter the protected admin area)



Base configuration
Site name : mydomain.com
Admin e-mail : jsgd_2000######################
(your email address)


I got following error...


The installation can not be completed:

- This directory already exists or the directory field is empty
- No valid directory name provided.

Click on the browser's Back button to fix reported errors.


I know I have did wrong something but what I don't know...

I want to install zen cart in apple directory only...

Zen Cart has its own installer. Installing by using Fantasico is not recommended.

If that's really the way you want to do it, then you would need to get support from the providers of Fantastico for problems that you are having with their installer.

Make sure this directory " apple " is without any slash (/)
