    Default "We do not ship to that area" issue when purchasing certain items.

    My customers are receiving the preceeding error when they are trying to purchase an item that has "Always Free Shipping:" set to yes.

    Is there a reason for this, and how do I fix it?

    have you followed this procedure:
    Make sure that the Free Shipping freeshipper is the Free Shipping Module you have installed ...

    This is the one that works with 0 weight means Free Shipping and Always Free Shipping ...

    Thanks for the reply... but I guess I'm not following you.

    What do you mean "Make sure that the Free Shipping freeshipper is the Free Shipping Module you have installed"?

    I do not have the Free Shipping Module installed. I just have the USPS module installed. Is that what is causing this issue?

    Oh, and if I do this and my weight for the free shipping product is greater than 0 (the weight of this item is listed as 16lbs) will the free shipping not work? What happens in that case?

    Admin>Modules>Shipping

    Look for FREE SHIPPING in the list, then look to the right of the screen.. if you see a red spot, click on the Install button...

    If you add weight to a Free Shipping Product the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper shipping module will run and all other shipping modules will turn off ...

    If you add a Product with weight to the cart in addition to the Free Shipping PRoduct with or without weight the shipping will be calculated based on the normal shipping Product for that weight and the normal shipping modules will run but the FREE SHIPPING! freeshipper will not show as now the order is not for free shipping ...

    What are you trying to accomplish by adding weight to the Free Shipping Product by adding weight to it?
