update of inventory has really sloowed!!

I have upgraded from 1.38 to 1.39b. I am using the stock by attributes multiadd 4.7 addon. Problem is that my site has really sloooowed down. I do have many, many products with many attributes. Before upgrading, the upgrae of inventory was slow, now it is unbearably slow. Does anyone have any idea how I can speed things up?

I would be surprised if Stock By Attributes Multiadd 4.7 was completely compatible with 1.3.9.

Even aside from some specific problems with bugs in the multiadd version, Stock By Attributes is tightly integrated with core Zen Cart code that tends to change with each release and so needs upgrading each time. Quite possibly (though I'm speculating), you've overwritten key code form the latest release, causing the performance issues that you're now experiencing.

Thanks. I will remove this addon and try another. I was hoping to be able to update multiple variants at once. Guess I have to continue doing one variant at a time
