Image Scroller

Hi,

I'm looking for a add on module like this:

I would like to have the above type of Image Scroll instead of the normal static "New Products" block.

Anyone know of any add on like this?

I assume, and would like, the "listing" of the images to be automatic generated like they currently are in the "New Products" block.

These fancy slider and carousel effects can be incorporated into zencart, but require a superior level of skill and knowledge to implement.

Generally, they are based on Jquery (javascript), and in some cases, flash.

Not something a beginner can easily do.

There are tutorials on how to use and manage jscript files in zencart, but again, you will need quite a lot of knowledge in what it all means.

I am not sure if there are specific (free) modules that you can simply "plug in". The work and skill required in building these things is significant, so I image if there are modules available, you'll have to pay for them.

Thank you Schoolboy! Wow...I just got the Zen Cart Desktop from Rubik. Looks really nice! Very worth it!

Well...as for the slider thing...I'll have to just see what happens. I'm really good with code but where ZenCart is concerned...it's a complete no go. LOL

What is the Desktop?

It's basically a program you install on your computer that links into your ZenCart. Thus, you don't have to log into your ZenCart admin via a browser but just use the desktop program to do exactly what you normally would via your browser admin.

PS! The Desktop program is not free. It's a program you purchase.
