Wide-Banner Position to Inside the Footer

I don't usually use banners, but since I have three sites now, I've decided to advertise them on each other. The best way I can think of is to switch on the wide-banner which I've done.

I was sort of expecting it to display in the footer though, below everything else? At the moment, it's displaying between the footer and the centre column, sort of inside the contentMainWrapper table as a new row at the bottom.

Then, when I click on a product page, the whole banner ends up mangled inside my headeer. I'm wondering if:

(a) the banner is supposed to display where it is displaying on the index pages?

(b) could a messed up tpl_product_info_display.php be causing the banner to move in the product display pages, or is it more likely to be an error in the tpl_footer.php file?

The banners don't mess up on the pages unless the banner code is goobered or the template is goobered up ...

Have you an example of an URL where you are having problems?

Did you move the original location of the banner?

Did you place it inside or outside of div tags or some other layout settings?
