    Default Port 1129

I was just migrated to a new server in order to pass PCI compliance. When someone tried to make a purchase, I received the message:
Communication Result: 7 - couldn't connect to host
I believe the issue is that port 1129 is not open on the new server. When I called my hosting company they wanted to know if I needed port 1129 opened PCP or UDP? Inbound or outbound?

Can someone please tell me what the answer is?

    Thanks very much.

I guess it's either TCP or UDP?

    Inbound or outbound?

    I figured it out!

It's port 1129 TCP, both inbound and outbound.

My store is up and running now!

Yes, I read that article, where it says "Port 1129 is used for bidirectional communication with the gateway, so must be open on your host's router". However it doesn't say if it is TCP or UDP. Bidirectional means inbound and outbound.

It might be obvious to some, but I'm a newbie, so I didn't know.
