moving cart to a new domain (same server)

Hi

Apologies if this is a stupid question but...

At the moment I have zencart set up on a subdomain. I've just purchased a new domain name that i want to use for zencart. I dont want to just redirect the new domain to the subdomain because i dont want the main web address showing up anywhere.

Because it's all on the same server, can i just copy the files from the original folder to a new one? (the new one will be created when i use the add-on domain feature in cpanel).

(I'm using zencart 1.3.8a and I've a load of modules added)
