Please explain how it works...

Hi. I set up my website using Dreamweaver, have used an ftp and uploaded and now want to add a cart. I have successfully (I think) downloaded ZenCart, it came as part of my hosting package. I don't understand how it will link into my site? I am a complete novice here. Should I have set the cart up before my site? Please can somebody guide me through the basics. I can see how to configure and understand that but what will it look like on my site and how will it know where to put everything?

I would suggest getting the downloadable version of the eStart book. Click the banner above and follow the links. It has very good setup instructions and explanations of the Admin functionality.

Zen Cart isn't just a shopping cart. It's not designed to be added to a site. It's designed to become your site. You can style it however you like limited only by your skill and imagination.
