New Development!

I am trying to figure out the best way about going forward with new development for an already existing web site!
In other words, what is better / easier:

• Install on my local Windows Machine, develop the UI, then upload it to the Server.

• Install in a temp dir on the server and then move to the root of the site?

Either way - I want ZenCart to be run from the root of the site.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would definitely do the temp directory test ...

Personally I work on the server just because I hate messies after the fact and just want to know all is working and I can test the upgrade as many times as I want on the database once I have everything else working right ...

So whether you start on your machine then go to the server, I would do the test directory in a test database and make sure all works before going to the root ...
