what happened?!

As of today, my webshop appears to have stopped working for some reason.

www.mercuriuscollective.org
When you clikc "Enter Website" you get a blank page.
The exact same happens when you enter the webshop through it's URL: www.mercuriuscollective.org/tmcshop
No error messages what so ever.

I do get an error message when I try to access my admin page:
www.mercuriuscollective.org/tmcshop/admin

It says: "Deprecated: Function ereg() is deprecated in /home/mercuriu/public_html/tmcshop/includes/classes/db/mysql/query_factory.php on line 177"

If anyone knows what could have happened and/or how to solve this, please do let me know. I'm desperate with two new publications coming up and the pre-orders opened!

Did that, but they're not very fast so I'm waiting for a response... thought I'd also post it here to see if anyone has had this problem before :-) Thanks though.

When did you install it?
Have you applied any patches to it?

Well... I don't know exactly since I can't access the admin page. The license says "version 2" hehe.
I did some upgrades after I first installed it about a year ago though. And more recently when I saw the notification in my admin pannel. However: Everything worked like a train after those upgrades so I doubt it would be the problem.

No real patches applied. Just upgrades and some modules. Again: After I did this everything still worked and that was about a year ago too.

I have no idea about the PHP version. I don't run the server myself. I do know it's linux based though.

Ok, so I got the following information from my hosting provider:

They did an upgrade last night and changed the following:
-The control panel has been changed from cPanel to accelerated2
-MySQL has been upgraded to version 5.14
-Apache to 2.2
-PHP is now running in version 5.3.2

1.3.8 is the ZenCart version stated in the "install" readme thingy on the server. Don't know if that has been upgraded along with the actual shop

v1.3.8 was released in late 2007, and is NOT compatible with PHP 5.3, and has several security vulnerabilities.

v1.3.9 was released in April 2010, and IS compatible with PHP 5.3, and has patched all known security vulnerabliities.

Evidently (and circumstantially) you are using the older v1.3.8 version, and on PHP 5.3 that will give you those "deprecated" errors.
