I got it to work, one thing though.

I had to name it "button_search.gif" or else it would not load.

Even if the script said "button_mag.gif" and the image was in the root/images folder it left the red x but as soon as I changed the name of the image and script back to the original it works fine.

Is this pretty much the same for all templates?

If so it would be nice to have this in a sticky or wiki someplace.
