"You entered the wrong username or password" after moving servers

Sorry to hijack your post, but I can't remember how to start a new thread and cannot find any reference as to how to!

I am having a similar problem having followed the instructions to the letter in the tutorial here - https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/i...hp?article=100

I managed eventually to get my site to show up and behave as it should - hurray!
But I did not run the fix_cache_kep.php - when I tried I get the error - "Content Encoding Error -
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
*Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem."

Other than that the site seems to work - BUT I cannot login as admin - I get the message "You entered the wrong username or password" - I tried the new one I set up in this install and the old one from my other server but no joy and when I use the email I used for admin - it rejects that as 'the wrong email' also.

Can anyone help on this please - I am using V 1.3.7

Apologies it seems I have not got the hang of posting yet!
I managed to sort the admin/login issue, but am still concerned that I was not able to run the fix_cache_key.php script.
Could this cause a problem if it is not run?
